Spinning/Cycling is happening daily at Adobe Fitness.

Spinning / Cycling Class

Spinning, also called cycling, is a group class designed to simulate cycling outdoors. You’ll ride as though you’re on a flat roads, riding up hills. This is all done to energetic music,guided by a motivating instructor who’ll take you on a ride to better health and a better body

Everyone is on his or her own bike so you can control the amount of tension on the wheel and you also control your speed. Because of this you can have an advanced person and a beginner in the same class. Your instructor will challenge you, but you get to listen to your body to determine your level of challenge and adjust your tension and speed accordingly. You'll burn approximately 500 calories per class depending on the intensity at which you keep your heart rate. If you feel intimidated, one of our spinning instructors can take you through an introduction class before you begin, see our front desk to set up an appointment. There is no doubt, Spin Cycling is one way to get you going in the direction of optimum health.

Belly Dancing

Bellydance is a distinctly feminine dance that has roots going back thousands of years. It is a low-impact workout that works the entire body, but there is a lot of focus on the "problem areas", such as the abdominals, hips and legs.

It is appropriate for all ages, sizes, shapes and fitness levels. The class is structured so that an absolute beginner can start class at any time of the year and learn with women of different skill levels.You do NOT have to show your stomach or anything else you don't want to. You can start out wearing regular workout attire, but you will probably want to wear a long skirt after taking the class for a while. Dignity and respect are stressed at all times. Come and enjoy exotic music and a positive atmosphere.

Taught by personal and professional instructor Gabriella Torres. This class is Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-8 PM.

 

Zumba!

ZUMBA!!! with Meghan Quinn

"Ditch the workout and join the Party!"

Zumba is a mixture of aerobic/fitness interval training, resistance training, fat burning and total body toning all done to incredible international music. Zumba is for everyone! Monday and Friday mornings 8-9 AM Wednesday evenings 5:30-6:30PM

 

ZUMBA GOLD with instructor Aldene Judd

Zumba Gold is Beginner's Zumba done at a lower intensity, but just as much fun as the original. You will burn fat, strengthen your heart and lungs, tone and shape your muscles, and increase flexibility. All fitness levels are welcome. Tuesdays 7:30-8:30 am and Thursdays 9:30-10:30 am

 

Pilates taught by instructor Tara Thackeray

Will help you develop your core strength, flatten and tone abs, develop muscle control, relieve tension and heighten concentration. An overall workout for the early birds!

This class is Tuesday and Thursday mornings Starting at 6:00 AM.

 

Pilates with instructor Darlene Anderson

This class is wonderful it utilizes mat work, ball work, great stretching and some lighter weights to achieve stronger leaner muscles, improve your posture and flexibility. Increase circulation and relieve tension. Heighten concentration and reduce risk of injury. Wednesday's 9:30-10-30 am

 

Yoga / Pilates with instructor Jennifer Andrews

A New Fusion of two great classes will develop your core strength. Lengthen and tone your muscles. Improve your posture and flexibility. Balance your body and mind. This class is great for pregnant mothers. It will help keep bones strong which reduces the risk of injury and increases your metabolism.

Mondays 5:30-6:30 pm

 


Cardio/Fat Burning

Cardio Weight Training and Ball Works with instructor Kim Titus

The first 30 minutes of this class is weight training designed to burn fat while strengthening and toning. It utilizes circuit machines, steps and jump ropes. This workout is set to music to keep heart rates in the fat burning zone. The second segment of the class is a 30 minutes Exercise Ball class that is designed to strengthen and tone the whole body, with emphasis on the core.

Tuesdays: Cardio Weight Training 9:30-10 am / Ball Works 10-10:30 am

 

Abs

"ABS with "The MEGS"

with instructors Megan Smith and Meghan Quinn is of course All about ABS. This half hour class includes ball work for abs and builds core strength as well as balance. Perfect exercises for the lower back, inner thighs, obliques, glutes and more. It's fun and rewarding and produces Great Results.

"ABS with "The MEGS" is 6:30pm on Wednesday.

 

Just for Seniors

Just for Seniors

We have a class designed for Senior Fitness. Classes are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:00am and are taught by rotating instructors.  This class is for stretching, building flexibility, balance and endurance and is designed to challenge each person individually.

 

Racquetball

We have a Racquetball Court and if you don’t have equipment we can provide balls and racquets.
